Keeping piranhas and a cobra as illicit dorm pets during his time at South Dakota State University is just one of the examples of Mark McKeown’s classic boundary-pushing behavior.

Living life on the edge and seeing how people react to the work he produces is what drives Mark. His inspiration comes from the community, it’s people and culture and the environment around him.

Mark believes everyone has a purpose and can make a difference in the world. He captures moments in an innovative, creative, fun and energizing manner, with integrity and authenticity.

An adrenaline junkie at heart, Mark likes to live life to the full. When he is not behind the camera you will find him running, enjoying the thrill of the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
